For the starting notes for this olfactory voyage was stroll in the garden islands of the Nile at Assouana.  For the middle notes there are green mango, lotus, incense, calamus and sycamore wood. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Ellena.

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil for me smells just like crisp, green mango on opening - a little powdery, tart and delicious. Grapefruit gives this a cheerful clarity. Bitter herbal tomato leaves then creep in, and overall give the entrance a fresh, clean, earthy, yet still aromatic aura. Citrus remains through the heart as the fragrance develops, but becomes sweeter as the aquatic botanics emerge.

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil is highly recommended for hot summer days. Some people complain about longevity. Yeah I can see that, 4 hours of wearing it and it's gradually fading but still get wafts of it every now and then. I'm wondering what to do with the rest of my summer scents now after nosing in on this.
